For the love of George Fant!  Let’s go Dragons!

I understand the situation about having to play two games on Saturday. The cost is a big factor but another factor is playing on Sunday. For years the KHSAA frowned on Sunday competition for obvious reasons that may no longer be the case. Warren Central will leave tomorrow morning. Clark will be home tonight. If it was a 3pm game Warren Central would probably have to stay another night or get home past midnight after eating etc. It's not the best scenario, but it's one used for many, many Sweet Sixteens.

All the fan comments on here have made me a fan of Coach Unseld.  I think I'll be pulling for them to win this year!  Thanks to everyone for your entertaining and informative comments throughout the season.

I get it, but during the whole season they are not asked to play two games in one day, except for the biggest game of the year.

In GRC's case they will be playing their 4th game in a little less than 46 hours. I know that Warren Central was in the bottom bracket last year and I think that contributed to them not winning it last season.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say I think it’s our time.

Game has started.

Warren Central leads 12-6 with 2:33 left in 1st.  8-0 Dragon run.

It’s 12-8 Warren Central at the first media timeout.  Walkup will be at the line for two free throws for the Dragons when they return.

Warren Central leads 18-12 at the end of the first quarter.  Walkup and Unseld lead the Dragons with 5 apiece.

Warren Central leads 26-18.  Walkup hit a pair of threes to respond to a six point George Rogers Clark run.  George Rogers Clark down to just two timeouts already.  4:32 left in 2nd.

Warren Central leads 28-20 with 2:37 left in the 2nd. Dragons have had a pair of 8-0 runs - the latest gave them a 10 point lead before a nice floater in the lane by Parrish.

32-25 under a minute left in the first half.

Warren Central leads 36-27 at the half.  Villafuerte had a bank shot three at the buzzer!

So what do you think, is WC going to close this one out?

Feeling good. Morton is playing well though. He’s so good.
