The two teams played two games and did not miss a free throw....but combined to just attempt TWO free throws tonight(!)

In early February, SK beat OC by 12....the Pioneers were 10 for 10 at the line and Oldham was 5 for 5.

Tonight, the first FT was shot by SK with just 1:29 left in the game.  (LOL)   SK finished 2 for 2 at the line; OC never shot a FT.   Bizarre.

Head coach Josh Leslie - since arriving in KY - was head girls coach at Eastern, then assistant boys' coach at North Oldham, then spent two years as HC at Seneca.   Prior to that, he coached in Ohio, leading Ottawa-Glandorf to an Ohio Division III state title in 2008.

Dynes with an impressive game tonight, perhaps one of the most complete games I've seen from him.   

Was exactly what we expected in the first half, until SKs dominating defense took over to go on that insane run in the second half!

Not as close as we hoped for, but it was an interesting one to say the least!

Complete and dominating destruction by the Neers in the 2nd half.  Dynes looked like he was having fun out there.  Hopefully they can take out Collins on Monday night.

The DyNasty block against Amburgey was something else.  Amburgey trying to hammer a two hand slam and ended up on his back.  That kid took some floor hits last night. 

Amburgey’s first half dunk was the only fun thing he did last night.  He was beat up no doubt.

Dynes should dunk every time he gets the ball.  He will definitely tower over every Collins player.

I’d predict that Collins will try to wear him down with a break neck pace on Monday.

That's a beatdown, really hard to understand how that could happen.

For the majority of the first half OC was just being patient and getting good looks. Hit majority of them. To start the second it seemed that the shots stopped falling, and then they began rushing shots. Struggled to get any open looks all night. Simon Kenton's defense is legit.

Totally forgot until this morning OC was supposed to have Louie Tucker this year.  He moved to Seneca last year from somewhere out west, his uncle is Buddy Hield, or so I hear.  Played with Oldham through the summer - then moved back home to England.  He played for the Great Britain U18 team in the U18 European Championship, and from this graphic I just saw, is leading the England EABL in scoring.  6'5.  Pretty good.  Now, he's ball dominant, and Max is ball dominant, so I don't know how that would have worked.  But more players is better.....
