Lighter schedule this go around, maybe a break even season who knows. 

This is not a 6A schedule. 

McCracken is going thru a rebuild.  You don't rebuild a program by getting your head beat in every week.  They need to schedule some wins and build some confidence until you get the program back on track.  Even tho last year they some how got 5 kids on the Western KY team lol.

This is exactly what I said about the realignment.  You have to be able to schedule wins. 

I believe this is a big year for Smith.  He was hired for his experience, players liked him, and he was the "safest" hire.  He is supposed to avoid down years and keep McCracken competitive.  With this schedule; he better be able to do so.

I think his first 3 games are winnable games. What does PT have. I know last year they were very good and put a running clock on them. Does McCracken Co. flip the script and put one on PT or have they turn the corner yet?

Tilghman returns their star QB and will most likely still be favored over McCracken. McCracken has a new QB transfer from Mayfield. They will most likely win more games than last year.

PT will be reloading the next four years. It's hard for me to say McCracken will beat them anytime soon. The Mustangs are rebuilding and I've heard coach Smith is getting better numbers to the program.  Just not sure how much they will be able to compete this year.  Maddox O'Neal is new to the program.  I will agree that his ceiling is very high but he is coming off major knee surgery.  I don't believe he has taken a varsity snap yet. It will be challenging for the sophomore to win immediately. 

The new transfer can make a huge impact. Did he play at Mayfield last year? Was he the starter?

He was injured and did not play one second of varsity football. I hear he has great potential, but is unproven as of yet.

last year the QB for McCracken was their best player IMO, he graduated, the transfer I'm sure will be a very solid player but their QB was not the problem last yr.

Ok. I think their schedule helps them this year. Would you say they are a favorite vs. PT?

No.
