Big game tonight in Hebron as two top 25 teams in the state of Kentucky go at it.  

Mason County comes into Hebron with their 23-2 record and look to knock off Conner (14-6) on their home floor and give the 5 senior starters a loss for their final home game on Bill Warfield Court.  Some of the teams they have both played with results:

Dixie Heights 57 Mason County 84

Dixie Heights 41 Conner 68

Conner has not played in 10 days so they may start off a little slow tonight, wouldn't be surprised to see Conner trailing at half.  I of course like Conner in a close one, so I'm going to predict Conner 71 Mason County 68.  I'll do my best to update the score at breaks and at the end of each quarter...remember I won't have my glasses so there may be some typo's!

 

Mason has some size and athleticism that may cause some problems:   I think Connor will need to make some early outside shots.  If they do it will open up the drive.  Definitely a going to be good game. 

This will be a really nice game, I see Mason County winning in a close one.  I'll be front and center.

Mason County's only 2 losses for the year are against N. Oldham and Lyon County.  Not too shabby.  I will also take Mason County in a close one.  However, if Conner can shoot 50%+ from 3 tonight they might squeak one out.  Has the makings of a good one.

Conner better get out on them early...Mason has been a 2nd Half team all year.

 

I'll take the Royals in a single digit win. 

10 days is a long time not to play a game, not sure what happen here but seems like a very long time not to be playing during this chapter of season.  
Cougars will need to play very well to give Royals their 3rd loss.

I think the time off will show early and allow Mason County to jump out big early making It to much for the Cougs to recover.
