spillywilly
I have not seen all the teams play this year but I would say Hester and Hurd would be on the team. Neely would have to go on my team also. I have not seen Edmondson but from what I hear he could be on the team. Also I would add Daugherty off the bench. Joe Pa
you cannot forget about Isreal Chambers for Shelby he is probably the best in the region
Tiger1
you cannot forget about Isreal Chambers for Shelby he is probably the best in the region When SK's Hester is healthy, he is the best player in the 8th region.
FarBeyondDriven
When SK's Hester is healthy, he is the best player in the 8th region.Neeley might be right there with him. Neeley is probably a better shooter.

captain
Who does Neeley play for? Owen Co . I agree Neeley might be a better shot out side , but I think Mike is quicker to the basket .
funtowatch
This is like picking a blind date from a phone list. There are a few players that stick out but there are also several players that play their roles as team players that could be (all-stars) given defferent roles. Wade of Shelby probably the best inside defender in the region. CJ Penny of Anderson one of the best soph's. in the state.
funtowatch
Neeley probably means more to his team than anyone else in the region. Is he better than Hester? We'll never know because they don't have the same supporting cast. Point in case Jennings of Trimble. How good would he be on a team with Neeley? Same can be said for Daugherty at WV. Give him a Hester or Neeley to open things up.
insider
Hard to say right now. Right now Hester would be on for sure but Hurd may would have a hard time because of Shelby's two big men (Chambers and Wade) and CJ Penny from Anderson. Spencer County also has a pretty good big man. Dunlop (Oldham) probably gets on this team and beyond those you start filling slots with some of the standouts from the smaller schools in the region. It is hard to get a solid idea about this because the small 8th region schools very rarely schedule the larger schools. Oldham County may be the only team that consistently gets to play the smaller 8th region schools. This makes it hard to choose because you don't see those smaller schools play against the level of competition the larger schools bring.
NEERFAN
I've only seen Shelby once, and came away impressed with Chambers and his wide frame, and Wade with his ability to alter many shots. Hester would have to be on the squad, if healthy he's a mini AI, haven't watched the Neers this season but Hurd has posted some very nice stats. Nate is a streaky shooter, witnessed his game as a frosh for SK, also saw him as a sub for Holmes and he is a very good shooter from the perimeter. Hopefully I can get some time off work to see a little 8th region ball this post season.

spillywilly
I saw SK with Hester and last night without Hester they looked to be lost with him not on the court.
Joe Pa
If your gonna mention Dunlap from Oldham then you got to have Payne and Koeble they pretty much make that Oldham Co team
