Young Tiger team comes up just short. Reading the write up in the paper they were really good hitting the boards but struggled shooting in the second half (33%). 

GREAT showing by St X.  I personally think Ballard is the darkhorse to take the state title this year.

A lot would have to fall their way I realize, but the Bruins are really good.  Again, great showing by X to get this close and battle Ballard!

Coach Klein does a great job year in year out!

There are 1500 or so male students roaming the halls on Poplar Level road. X has not threatened winning the region in a long time.

Meanwhile a few miles away, their biggest rival has won multiple State titles and is in the conversation quite a bit.

Did they not upset Manual at Manual in Region last year, and make Semis?  That's threatening IMO.  

Klein has really not done much at X in over ten years.

Almost won the region one time with the McKim kid several years ago but otherwise they have really never been in the discussion.

I don’t think a school with St X’s resources should think making a region semi final is good especially when the school they compare themselves to is rattling off Region titles and State Championships.

I didn't say good.  Just threatening.  Have they had the talent as Trinity and Ballard?  Maybe it's a recruiting issue too, which is a different story.

Do you think with the resources at his disposal that Coach Klein should have more wins, wins vs T, and at least ONE region title in his years at X?

St. X enrollment according to KHSAA data for football classes shows St. X enrollment at 1090. Lafayette has most and Trinity 2nd. St. X 3rd in enrollment. Trinity has done better for sure. I have noticed the last two classes of freshman talent has been better and why they start 3 sophomores and a freshman with two other freshman that rotate in. I look for them to be better in the next couple of years than in past.
