Blake Reed had 47 points to lead all scorers, but Terrell Henry had 27 for the Royals & made all the big plays down the stretch. 

34 straight wins for Mason County over Bracken County. 

Henry with the game-winner with a couple seconds to play, then a steal to shut the door.  Barn burner at LexCath. 
 

If Mason is indeed in the top 10, Bracken is right with them. 

Terrell Henry had 27 points and 8 boards.  Hit the game-winning basket and had 2 huge steals down the stretch.  Riley Mastin had 13, KG Walton 12, & Phillip Bierley 11 for Mason. 

Bracken County had just 3 players score.  Blake Reed had 47, Cayden Reed 14, & Austin Norton 2.

I like where BGP has Mason County now (16).  They might prove themselves higher than that over the next few days.  I would have Bracken in the 22-25 range.

I know the Reed boys are big scorers and they lost Commodore for the season, but only three scorers in a game of this magnitude doesn't seem like a recipe for success.

Really, there were only 2 scorers when you consider that the third had 2 points.

I concur.  Blake shot 55.1% from the field, and Cayden shot 42.8%.  Archibald usually hangs out in the corner to knock down a few threes.  But Mason stayed on Archibald and didn't help on Blake Reed keeping the lane open.  

Bracken was up by 3 with a 1:30 left.  After that, Bracken just turned it over and beat themselves.

Mason County is very good.

Bracken County started the game down 10-0.  I thought it was going to be a blowout at that point.  

Bracken outscored Mason 25-14 in the 3rd.  Mason outscored Bracken 19-13 in the 4th. 

Both teams were in foul trouble the who game.  Bracken still played their guys because they aren't very deep.  Refs did a good job, had three of the best in the BBA.  All three have officiated multiple state tournaments.  They were just fouling lol.  

Big miss on the front end of the one and one by Bracken late in the game.

Very competitive and high intensity game.  Cudos to both teams.

I really hope they don’t draw each other in the opening game of the district.  That would be a disservice to both teams.  Both teams appear to be Region worthy.
