Jumper_Dad
Peanutbutter Balls or Buckeyes have always been my favorite Christmas Candy and it never feels like Christmas until I have the first one of the season. My Grandpa was the king of peanut brittle when he was alive. Whatever voodoo that goes into making the perfect batch of brittle was discovered by my wife 10 years ago. In the past my wife would get me a pack of bourbon balls from Kentucky Chocolates each year and put in my stocking. This year she decided to try making a batch instead. Goodness, she knocked these out of the park. She can't stand the smell of bourbon much less the taste, so I feel special that she makes them just for me. 😊

Randy Parker
Don't know what it's called, but it's cinnamon candy that looks like red glass and has powdered sugar on it.
mcpapa
Both made by my mom back in the day (yes, we had electricity then). Butterballs. Wedding cookies on steroids. Peanut butter fingers. Graham cracker crust, a layer of chocolate and a layer of peanut butter. Chilled in a cookie sheet No, technically candy. So sue me.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
My Grandpa on my Dad's side would always go up to the Esther Price Chocolates "headquarters" in Deer Park, Cincy and buy the biggest box of chocolates they made to bring to my family's Christmas party on Christmas Eve...my Dad was one of 7 kids, and I was one of about 30 grandchildren, so the regular-sized box would have been gone in a heartbeat, lol. Everyone would grab a few chocolates throughout the night, and pray they didn't get stuck with the one that tasted like it was filled with toothpaste, haha.
