Yeah you're right. PC/BC has calmed a BUNCH since I graduated. I usually do cheer for PC especially against the Green Machine.

 

 

Some of my friends actually were violent. Not towards students either. Towards parents. Not a Dad either. There have been some ugly situations in the past.

Honestly and this is not meant to be a slam on Brossart but an observation, I don't think there is ANY 10th Region school including Campbell that would cheer for Brossart over any other 10th region school.

I'd say the South East people in CC are the best I've seen. I've played on the West Side of Cincinnati too and noone compares. I saw a team throw 3 games in a row of nothing but cornholes. They kept saying, "Don't worry, this is what we do," and they weren't kidding.

Im not a referee but this is my take...

 

The Technical foul would be shot right at that time. Eventhough the clock has reached 0:00, all players would have to remain on the court as any other technical foul... Each team can only have 5 players on the court. This time period is treated as a regular "Technical foul". It is not a "Time Out". Note: Any foul shots taken and made during "Time Outs" do not count. Play has to resume for the shots to be legal... The reason I think that the Technical foul shot is shot at the end of regulation is parrallel to the idea of shooting freethrows at the end of a quarter or first half after time has expired.... You shoot them and then go to time out or the half..... I just cant imagine starting an overtime period with one team ahead on the scoreboard...? Just does not make sense. Thats my two $...

If the above is saying that the game would be over after regulation should the FT's be made and untie the score that would be incorrect.

Never seen or heard of this happeniong , I was just curious:

 

A game between bitter rivals goes to overtime. As the horn to end regulation sounds, a player from team "A" shoves a player from team "B" with no retaliation. The referee calls a Technical foul on Team A. Here's the question:

 

Do the free throws occur at the end of regulation. meaning if "b" scores, the game ends, or do the free throws occur before the tip to OT, and play resumes??

They play on. If it gets to a point where there is only one player for a team, it is a forfeit UNLESS the ref feels the single player has a chance to compete.

Not true. Unless there has been a revision to the rulebook, 3-1 says When there is only one player participating for a team, the team shall forfeit the game, UNLESS the referee believes that team has an opportunity to win the game.
