Haha Alabama is a surprise. Ohio State is not. Settle down on bowing down to the Buckeyes people. They’ve mostly been embarrassed in the playoffs. And no titles since playoffs started and only one very embarrassing appearance in the final. The media oversells them I get it but come on.

I’m excited to see what TCU can do in the playoffs! I’ve adopted them as my playoff team this year.  Also, Ohio State could still get in there if TCU and or USC lose. ?

If TCU or USC lose Ohio State will get the 4th spot, meaning there is a good chance that we could see Ohio State/Michigan II. I think in most cases, especially in college football the team that lost the first match up has a leg up in the rematch.

I'll say now, if they play again I think OSU wins by at least a TD.

Ohio State won the very first playoff in 2015.  They've made the playoffs 4 of the 8 years and have a 3-3 record in those games.  That should be 4-2 since the 2020 Clemson game was stolen ?.  Actually they would be 4-3 because they would not have beaten LSU.

Yeah I forgot they one that first one. You got me there. But in my head over the past 10 years OSU is not a peer of Alabama. Neither is Clemson. I get the overall sentiment that both have been in the playoffs a bunch. But something something SEC….

Bama has certainly been more consistent and has gotten into the playoffs more often.  They are 9-4 overall in playoff games.  That includes a 1-1 record against Ohio State, a 2-2 record against Clemson and a 1-1 record against Georgia.  They are 5-0 against other conference teams (UC, ND, Wash., Okla, Mich.St.).  So I wouldn't say they have been head and shoulders better than Ohio State and Clemson.

If USC loses to Utah …OSU is in and watch out. They got their loss out of the way and have nothing to lose.

No shot there’s a four touchdown swing IMO.

Alabama rolled UGA in SEC title game 41-24, then UGA won title game 33-18 just last year. That was a 30 point swing. 

OSU/Michigan was a tight game until the last quarter and half, they are more than capable of turning this game around.
