To much Selby for Fairview,Despite big fourth from Barker.I think I called this game right on the nose.

Good road win for the Lions now 8-3 and good chance to improve to 9-3 with friday's matchup with East Carter.

Your right this team and I mean TEAM are starting to click.Fairview is a team well coached and the future is bright.

Any stats?

I'd like to see some stats for both teams.

Congratulations to the LIONS.

This game went pretty much as everyone thought it would.

Scoreboard has the score wrong in this one. It says Boyd lost 55-52.

I think Boyd had four players in double figures.....Barker was held to 6 points the first half. and had 15 in the fourth quarter..... Fairview will be a force to recon with in the next few years.

Congratulations to Boyd, as well as what sounds like a solid effort from Barker and the young Eagles.:thumb:

Good effort made by Fairview! Armstrong did a very good job. Barker had a better second half than first(his 3's weren't dropping). The County played as a TEAM. CD Mayhew was called for a couple of fouls early on and sit out the biggest part of the first half. He came back in the second half with his consistent play. He was 5-6 on the free throw line. Casey Branham also was 5-6 on free throws. Good game to watch!!!:thumb:

Congrats to Boyd Co. on the win. They continue to play well.

Thanks, KYGirl.

It looks like Selby was a one man wrecking crew under the basket.

Who is "Armstrong" for Fairview? I know Alex Barker and Cameron Hall, but I'm not sure if I know who Armstrong is.

Frances

Armstrong, is Daniel Armstrong. He is a 6'3 230lb Junior. He is a football and basketball standout for the Eagles. He made All-Area this year in Football and should receive some post season recognition in Basketball this year. He is a good athlete with a great frame and is also a great student. The future is bright for the Eagles.

Does anyone know if Barker has any offers? I hope a kid with his skills & heart lands somewhere and that his size will not be the deciding factor.

Here you go Frances!!

Noticed the stat line for Ryan Crisp was wrong, he came off the bench when Mayhew got in early foul trouble he had 7 pts. in the 1st half and played great defense. He is coming along nicely.
