Ballard With A Late November Playoff Run Brewin'?

Series History: Ballard leads 3-2 all-time 

Table Setter: Ballard's defense has gotten most of the ink this year, but the offense could be in position to steal some thunder this week as the red Colonels trek from Edgewood to Louisville. Only three teams in 6A have allowed more points than Dixie Heights. They blew out Scott in Week 11 to end a six game skid, but that will do little to convince anyone a competitive game is looming against the Bruins. 

Ballard tied its season high with 44 points last week. A second consecutive offensive outburst may induce further confidence to that side of the ball and provide a little balance to a team that already features an elite defensive unit.

Dixie needs Rice at QB and just let him run on Ballard!

I’d love to see a Dixie win here but with a defense as good as Ballard has, and an offense as bad as Dixie has, it just isn’t going to happen. Dixie defense will be on the field a lot chasing some really fast athletes… from behind. That’s it, that’s the post.

I expect the Ballard defense to look like world beaters in this game. 

This definitely could be a 2nd quarter running clock.

 Appreciate the honest opinion.  I would like to see Dixie turn down the hurry up offense just a notch so they aren't confusing themselves and making mistakes. That offense could be a challenge for defenses if it was more efficient.
