Both fan bases are restless tonight after this week's games. Which one gets fired first?

I'd say Frost because I can see him getting canned after about 6-7 games (whenever the buyout plummets in his contract) so that the Huskers can see what Mark Whipple can do with the team for the last 5 or so games.  I can't see Louisville getting rid of Satterfield until the end of the season.

I think October 1st is the date the buyout drops dramatically on Frost.

Louisville may hold onto Satterfield longer, hoping to secure this historic recruiting class before cutting him loose. December 15-17 are the early signing dates this year.

IMO, Frost goes first. Guess we will see.

Frost.  Nebraska has been a trainwreck since he got there.

I don't think that matters since if can't coach them up plus some coming here because of NIL. If Satterfield loses to UCF and FSU which is likely then he will be gone at end of season unless has miraculous 6 or 7 win season.

Perfect storm for Louisville would be to fire him late in the season and announce Brohm ASAP, giving Brohm time to re-recruit those commitments.

Jeff Brohm hasn’t done anything to earn this job. Nobody in Louisville would want him if he weren’t from here.

I thought that was the dream scenario for you and everyone else last fall? Maybe you didn't say you wanted him, but you're the only Card fan that I know that didn't if you didn't.

I’d say about 25-30% of Louisville fans actually want Brohm, they are just the most vocal.

Brohm would be the easy hire. Doesn’t mean he’s the right one.

It’s without a doubt Frost.

I think his buyout drops Oct 1st, he won't make it to Halloween.

Well, this was over quicker than expected.

Scott Frost fired, buyout be danged!

I guess a booster wrote a check for $7 million to fire Frost early.
