I'm not setting up a thing.  Let's just hope the young man gets his health back.  I couldn't care less if they lose to Beechwood.  Won't be the first time and in the grand scheme of things it means squat.  Plus I can keep my five extra bucks in my wallet and not in the hands of those charging extra bucks to play a regular season game at Edgar McNabb.

The team that beat true 7 on 7 champions of the world is already copping before the week starts. I like Beechwood’s chances at this point.

Of course bias comes into play but if you are targeting me for touting SK, you are barking up the wrong tree. My point is rankings mean squat, sure it's great water cooler talk but it doesn't matter come December.  A kids health is much more important in the grand scheme of things vs what anyone outside the program thinks about them.  I'd love to see Beechwood vs SK with both teams at full strength.  Unfortunately football is a brutal game and that's a tall task to ask for.

I would rest Crone until he’s ready, I'm just questioning weather or not Highlands gave some folk a false sense of reality.

I am not entering this discussion other than to point out Beechwood has been without their starting QB all season. They are playing a freshman QB. Beechwood also was without Robinson in their first game.

I hope Cash Harney has a splendid career.  I don't know him but I know his family and have nothing but respect.  I expect he will have a fantastic career just like his dad and uncles did back in the day.  Much respect.

I, like others, wish Crone a safe and speedy recovery. I believe that the point a few posters are trying to make is that for weeks we have heard how deep and talented this year’s SK team is and that they deserve to be ranked higher. A 6A school, if they are as deep and talented as touted, should not fall off much by losing one key player. Some, yes, but not flipping the narrative 180 degrees. Plus, you still have to play defense.
