I agree, quite possibly one of the weakest years in half a century for the 9th region.

CovCath wins in a laugher! "Crunch hit the nail on the head about the program. It's a mess. Too many kids not seeing time and with no explanations...and the JV program is evcn worse. If you're not seeing 2 full quarters of time on the Varsity...ya need to be getting game minutes at the JV level. Let the Freshman develop at the freshman level and reward them with a move up at the end. I could see a couple of "disgruntled" players pack it in by Feb.

Welcome to BGP Bert...that is a pretty bold statement. His coaching is not in question with many of the Highlands fans it is his roster selection and personnell decisions during games. I actually like his style of coaching, I just wonder how you make all of those kids play hard for you when on a nightly basis they don't know whether they are starting, playing 2 min, playing 1/2 the game or maybe not playing at all.

DMZ76 I see your point and understand your statement. Can you tell me this, are the Freshman that are getting more time at the JV level having an impact? Seems like everyone is waiting for this group to become "all that" when it come to all the sports. Is it fair to any of the kids in this situation? By the way Cov. Cath. by 20 pts......

Colonel Fan, thanks for prediction that Highlands will school 81 points. I dont think they've scored 81 points the entire year. I cant recall the last time I saw a team with a total of 10 points for the entire half. Highlands v. Dixie (last night).
