This punishment seems pretty severe.  Someone please tell me what was wrong with this Coach trying to assist EKY people that needed help?  Maybe, we haven't heard the whole story.  

From my understanding, this was the final straw.  Not sure what the other straws were though.  Frederick Douglass has played in back to back regional championship games under Coach Mosely. 

This is one of those "I HOPE there is more to the story than meets the eye" deals.  

It is official now that Coach Jason Mosley is out. The job was just posted at 2:00pm today on FCPS website.

This website isn't strong enough to host all other straws that led to this. It should've been done last year.

They say winning makes up for a multitude of sins, but you can make a case with the talent they've had they should've been at Rupp already.  Although, 11th region is as stout as they come.

You can't just do what you want all the time and think you're going to get away with it. We all have rules we have to follow. At some point asking for forgiveness instead of permission runs out.

Agree with this.  It's easy to get complacent, and get a false sense of security.

So there is clearly a lot "more to the story" than just this Exhibition.  Thanks Shooter for shedding some light on that, to me, this seemed overly harsh, but if it is a "last straw" situation, than it makes more sense.  Appreciate it.

You aren't seeing a lot of coaches in the profession standing up for an "unfair" dismissal for a reason. 

Former Model Head Coach Wes Scarberry has been named the coach.  Coach Scarberry has been a teacher at Frederick Douglass for the past 4 years, and spent time of the staff the first couple years as a teacher.  Frederick Douglass twitter page made the announcement.

I would imagine the timing of the opening shrank the list of potential applicants.  Coach Scarberry had some solid teams at Model.  This is a big time job for him to step into.
