That was good win for Moeller as Massilon was ranked #1 in Ohio D2

Definitely nervous about next week.

But week 3 brings Center Grove (IN) to St. Matthews, and they beat Warren Central (IN) 17-8, and face Carmel next week. So there could be comparisons made by next Saturday.

Happy with the win….but that’s in the rear view mirror now.  Offensively we have extensive work to do.  We are missing that explosiveness that we are accustomed to.

I love our defense, but this will not be the offense of old.  That’s going to take some getting used to, and it will hurt us in a couple of games this season.

Areas that stuck out to me:

protection

route running

North / south running

passing

 

Alas, it’s just week 1, and it was a W.  So I’m happy.

On this TD reception if you slow video down looks like receiver stepped out of bounds but I could see where ref wouldn't have seen it in full speed.

The Carmel player is either right on the line or maybe a millimeter in bounds after looking at it again but no way ref going to see that full speed.
