BEAT FRANK'S FIVE

Every week Frank will pick Five games and will predict the winner (or tie) of those 5 games.  If you pick the winners more accurately than Frank you will win a BGP prize!  Four of these games will have a NKY team playing in them and one of the games will be a "wildcard" game.  Wildcard could mean it might be a non-NKY High School game, it could be a College game, or it could be a Pro game.  All of these games are of Frank's choosing.  The five games will be published no later than Monday at Noon EST.  Frank will be very careful to not pick Monday night games if the publication of the games are on Monday.  If Monday night games are part of the games selected the publication of the games selected will be prior to Monday morning.

Game Rules:

You must BEAT Frank's week record.  Frank wins if you tie his record.  You will only get rewarded a BGP Prize once during this season.  You can still participate but you will no longer be eligible to win a BGP Prize.  For the Kentucky High School games the system of record is KHSAA Scoreboard website, sometimes schools social media posts are inaccurate.  If a game is cancelled during the week of the contest (and not moved and played during that week) it will be removed from the contest, but it will not be replaced if it happens after the predictions have been entered.  If the game is simply moved to another day of the same week it will still be a valid game of the contest.  Your selections must be transparent to the audience by posting it on this contest thread.  All valid entries must be posted prior to kickoff of the first game in the game selection.  This time will be clearly indicated on the weekly post.

Wanted to post this now for everyone to be able to see what is coming.  The games selected for this first week will be published either tonight or first thing in the morning.  Get ready!!!!

Frank's Week 1:  Games and Predictions

Beechwood at St. Henry (Wed, Aug 10th):  Frank's Pick = St. Henry

• KHSAA Scoreboard incorrectly has Beechwood/St. Henry game being played Mon, Aug 8th.  It is going to be played on Aug 10th.

NCC at Ryle (Wed, Aug 10th):  Frank's Pick = Ryle

Cooper at NDA (Sat, Aug 13th):  Frank's Pick = NDA

Louisville Assumption at Highlands (Sat, Aug 13th):  Frank's Pick = HIghlands

Simon Kenton at Bishop Brossart (Sat, Aug 13th):  Frank's Pick = Simon Kenton

The first game of these selections kicks off at 6pm on Weds, Aug 10th.  Therefore, we will shutdown the time to enter the contest for this week at 5pm, Weds Aug 10th.

I know I didn't go out of NKY for any "wildcard" game but rest assured I have already researched and have queued up an "Out of the Region" or "Out of the Box" game to be included in the Five Game Selections going forward.

 

When you post your selections you can simply post the winners UNLESS you are going to go crazy and predict a tie.  If you are predicting a Tie PLEASE state that prediction very clearly.

Just a heads up,  St henry and Beechwood are first round of All A.  It can't end in a tie.  You may want to revise.
