It's so easy to critique on this message board. Maybe u should set up a meeting with Coach Thompson. I am sure he would love your input. I am sure he is capable of implementing any offense he wishes to. But maybe he bases everything off of his personnel. I think you should support your coach. I am trying to support Boone and what they do.

He's got the personnel to pass the ball. I saw it work against Ryle. He's got the weapons.

Support away. At the end of the season, you'll still be wondering why Boone can't get over the hump.

I'm not talking about passing like LexCath does . I'm simply saying that you have to make the D OCCASIONALLY worry about the ball being thrown. Are you trying to tell me that BC didn't have one kid in each grade or two that could put the ball in the air with some success? Ain't buying it.

 

I agree with this post, Not one guy in 20+ years capable of keeping a D honest, no way.

They actually had 2 very good QB's in the 80's prior to this running period;

Junior Fortner was a 1000+ yd. passer when Boone had a very prolific passing attack; he was followed by Duane Davis who earned a scholarship to EKU.
