Doesn't look like just Wins and Losses either. You have teams with losing records ranked higher than those with 2, 3, and 4 games above .500. The rankings do not make sense. And the rankings do not make one team better than the other either.

I agree with you Sunrise. Male should be no doubt #2 and GRC is getting no love from Cantrell. I think the played Male tougher than Lex Cath. They made a great showing at the 5th/3rd making it to the semis all without Jones. If they get him back before the end of the year we may see them at Rupp.

No GRC is a crime after their showing at the 5/3rd and looking at their schedule to date!! You could probably put the entire top half of the 7th & 11th regions in the top 25!!

It sure needs some tweaking in his methods if this is how he believes the state's best are ranked as of today.

True, however these rankings are supposedly done by computer, ala BCS. Regardless of how they're determined, they are garbage in my opinion.

Strength, schedule, and record according to the article. Not sure what he means by strength.

Male should be ranked #2 in state. GRC not even ranked and have beat #9 South Laurel and # 19 Holmes. Lost to #7 Madison Central in OT. Only other lost was to Male. States that strenght of schedule is a factor, but in many cases this dosn't seem to be a factor. More of W and L. and then that is questionable.

I think alot of rankings are based on previous years exploits of teams and it makes it hard for teams that do have good teams this year to get recognition. It also seems to me teams are sometimes ranked according to location rather than talent.

I guess what I was trying to say is GRC should be ranked and would be but somehow some Louisville schools seemed to get ranked without merit.

I don't think there is any question that Clark County is a top-20 team. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a mistake in the database (a wrong score entered or something similar) that would explain it.
