The only jobs open in WKY are Hopkinsville and Mayfield.

I agree, was just mentioning if he was getting back into coaching in WKY he only has 2 options at this point.

He still has ties in the Lexington/ Central KY area ?

Lex Cath would make a ton of sense. Retired so he can double dip in the private pool. 

Chuck is retired and very content with what he is doing!!

It definitely would, but the chances of that is slim to non. I just thought I’d throw it out there, but never count out the idea tho. 

With his background he can land anywhere he wants to, I would assume he would want to stay close to his family which is in the BG area? He is not that old?

Maybe wait a year and the hoptown Christian county consolidation sounds like perfect situation to me.  A guy like Coach Smith in that situation seems like title contender right away. 

That job is 80 some miles from his son? That may be a little far. I think jobs will open up around Bowling Green and if he wants I coach he would stay close? What about a Smith vs Smith game in BG?

You guys are chasing the proverbial wild goose on this one.

He has said a couple of times that he has no real desire to coach against Brandon. 

 

Chuck Smith doesn't do push ups......he does earth downs !!
