  1. It’s becoming more and more obvious of why Coach Crutchfield left at the first chance he got.
  2. Maybe wait a year and the hoptown Christian county consolidation sounds like perfect situation to me. A guy like Coach Smith in that situation seems like title contender right away.
  3. O sorry, it says clearly that it is written by Mr. Network. I apologize for that.
  4. http://www.kyhssports.freewebspace.com/fb_mad_lincoln_county.doc This is a great look at Lincoln’s coaching history. I’m not sure who wrote it, but Mr. Network may be able to help us out with that.
  5. I know Rogers had back to back double digit winning seasons at Lincoln as a QB. I’m not sure the last time this was done in the program, but hasn’t come anywhere close to that since then. Those seasons resulted in district titles, a regional title, and state-semi appearance. He was also brysons QB coach and OC for most of his career. I could be wrong, but I think he still holds every other QB passing record at the school (season yards, season TD’s, Career TD’s). He also is the guy responsible for bringing Coach Crutchfield to LC because they are first cousins. He was the defensive coordinator for Coach Crutchfield. They had 2 shutouts this season, which I’m not sure when that has happened in the program history. He was an assistant on a staff that won Garrard county their only regional title in school history as well. I think it’s very safe to say he knows what it takes to win at LC.
  6. Can we get a look at the other 2 resume? Because I sure Rogers and Cooper have much more than what you listed. You seem pretty one sided here.
  7. Hard to say against the teams LC plays…. But after game photo shoots and TikTok reels of staff chasing refs to cars are a guarantee lol😂😂
  8. I wasn’t trying to say josh jaggers isn’t a good coach by any means so I apologize if it came out that way. He has had some good seasons at Larue. I said he has a losing record which he does as you showed us. Lincoln lost a bunch from last years team and has less than 10 returners that have varsity experience, so if you lose 4 or 5 of those with a small senior class coming up I would say yes they will have less than a competitive varsity roster.
  9. I hope we aren’t talking jaggers lol. He has a losing record overall at Larue by quite a margin while having all kinds of talent in his time. Don’t think that translates to wins when you have to play much better competition in a higher class. This name came up early amongst parents and community members, and let’s just say Lincoln won’t have a varsity roster if this is the hire.
  10. Rogers was also offensive coordinator for Leffew before 4 seasons with Crutchfield. He also had plans of head coaching before Crutchfield left, so I don’t think Lincoln is passing on him. Lincoln’s timeline of not starting the process until after the holidays has allowed other programs to contact and interview Rogers first. He was interviewed at Knox and I would imagine Lincoln will give him an opportunity after putting 8 years in if he isn’t hired elsewhere first. Not to mention he was the QB during Larry French’s 4 years.
  11. Heard LC is taking this well into January, which in my opinion is a huge mistake. Kids fall behind in the weight room and most coaches will be hired.
  12. Levi Rogers is the one responsible for bringing Spencer Crutchfield to Lincoln County in the first place as they are first cousins. Idk if it’s following Spencer to Garrard or another head job because there are other programs interested in him.
