Saturday at the Applebee Winter Classic against Boyle County, DeSarae Chambers scored her 2000th point as a Junior. She is also approaching 1000 rebounds in her career. Also, Lacey Cline scored her 1500 point in a recent game also as a Junior. Congratulations DeSarae and Lacey!!!!!!:dancingpa

It will be interesting to see whether or not Dee will finish her career with more points than Chris Lofton. It will be close.

Feel the same Coach. My hometown Lady bears have been the victims of many of those points as well. Congrats to both Dee and Lacey. These two young ladies are just as classy off the court as they are on it. Two fine examples of all thats good in the high school sports arena.

Desarae had a great teacher, Her father is a very very good player. One of the better still in the Maysville area for his age...

She sat out her 7th grade year.

She may have contributed a few points here and there, but I doubt she would have started. De'Sarae didn't even start her 7th grade year, and didn't get played until later on in the season.

 

But I'm not trying to take anything away from these two girls. Congrats, and best of luck with the rest of your basketball career.
