Assuming you're speaking of the NIL and scholarship monies, if so, they both can disappear.  When disobeying your boss, usually good things don't happen.  If you're that unhappy, just transfer.

He didn’t disobey his boss. Cal didn’t tell him to go in and he refused. Cal asked him if he wanted to go in with 30 seconds left with the walk ons and he said no. I think Cal even knew he probably wouldn’t want to go in, and that’s why he asked and didn’t just tell him to.

Why would a college coach ask a scholarship player if he wanted to go into a game?

Cal answered that question to right after the game. He said he asked Allen if he wanted to go at the end with the walk ons, Allen said he rather now. Cal said he asked him cause he knows from experience back when he played a coach put him in with 30 seconds left and he didn’t like it. 

So once again there was no disobeying or Allen saying no to something Cal told him to do.

It’s actually quite common in college basketball now. Lance Ware didn’t want to go in late against WKU. But he isn’t the lightning rod that Allen is, so nobody is talking about it.
