I have had a membership to the NFHSNetwork for two years now but the game will not load on my laptop. Is anyone else having problems or is it just me. I have never had an issue with it before.

Everything about these halftime stats - time of possession, yardage, trips to the red zone, 3rd & 4th down conversions - it definitely makes me think Pikeville is going to just pull away in the second half....perhaps to the point of a complete blowout.

And that's not saying anything critical of Russellville. This is a 1973 Belmont Stakes kinda situation here.

This year is the best it has every been for me both on my desktop computer and using the app.

Sounds like a local issue.  Login, logout, reboot your machine, try again, it almost has to be local.

Are you trying to load it by going directly to the NFHS Network, or are you trying to go to the KHSAA.tv and then link through there? Because the KHSAA.tv dealio had been a fire drill every time I've tried it in the past.

First Half Thoughts:

- Birchfield, as he has all season, is carrying Pikeville. Already 19 carries and well on his way to 200+ yards. Russellville has been able to stop him for short games a couple times and then Pikeville has followed it up with an incomplete pass or ineffective scramble, this has been the key to getting a couple key stops for Russellville. I would expect that if the game remains in doubt you may see Pikeville just force feed Birchfield.

- Russellville has playmakers for sure. You can also tell Pikeville has a hearty respect borderline fear. The Panthers have to find a way to get Gamble free into some green grass. He has been shut down so far while all their other playmakers have at least found a moment to make their presence known.

- Isaac McNamee has not been his normal self. He has struggled with accuracy on his throws and has also overcooked a few throws or sent them in too hot for receivers to handle. One catch for Lockhart for 1 yard speaks volumes. Russellville has done a good job in coverage on McNamee's security blanket. Will be interesting to see if Pikeville just rides Birchfield or if they try to get McNamee in a rhythm. 

- That stop to force a FG and subsequent kickoff return to set up a score was the perfect sequence to keep Russellville alive. Their D was playing their heart out and were doing so backed up in their own territory. It is clear the deeper Pikeville team was wearing Russellville down. R-ville has to move the ball on this opening drive and put themselves in a positive field position situation at a minimum. The goal is to keep some wind in their lungs, compete and try to get a couple stops, then hope they can pop enough big plays to put them within a score in the 4th.

I watched Alabama 3A championship game yesterday. Score was 29-6 at half. Final score was 35-33. Team with 6 at half won. I agree with you that Pikeville still wins 

Russellville with the ball at their own 35 to start the second half.

Rville to punt.

Pikeville starts on their own 21.
