It really has nothing to do with whether or not it’s a running play or passing play. Myers got hurt halfway through last season and Jessie had to come in as a freshman and played well. This year they had intentions on them splitting time at quarterback because they both are talented and have strengths they can offer an offense. However Myers is special at the safety position I would guess he probably leads the team in tackles and has great coverage skills. Bardstown can throw at him at their own risk. But both guys throw the ball pretty accurately they just don’t throw a lot because they’ve had and continue to have so many skill players and running back. They did lose their two fastest players at the position but they’ve had some younger guys step up and are really starting to find their groove in helping Stockton carry the ball.

Not rocket science… #6 was key to GS’s O last year in QF matchup. His 1st 2 carries for -4 yards (by one of best tacklers in the state) set tone for game. Ended 12/24. Wing-T and 14 kept it close.

If 14/27 are out, recipe as last year!! Stop #6… bigger now…

Sometimes knowing what to do and doing it are two completely different things. If Bardstown wins it will be because of their offense I don’t think they will shut Glasgow’s offense down. If Glasgow wins it’s because they held up against the pass. Last year against Cal they basically gave up 3 long pass plays and that was the difference in the game. I truly believe this will be a fairly high scoring game something like 35-28 Scotties.

I see Jesse reclassified as a Freshman this year.  He played last year in regional final against CAL.

3 long pass plays and no one was within 15 yards of the receiver each time.   Wing-T did hurt CAL.  Long is a stud.
