Raceland will comes into this playoff matchup putting up just over 38 points per game and giving up just over 12 points per game. Paintsville comes into this matchup at 6-5. Paintsville is putting up close to 32 points per game and giving up just over 21 points per game. They beat Betsy Layne 64-22 to get to this matchup.

Who wins this big rivalry matchup? Does Raceland send Paintsville into Basketball season? Does Paintsville avenge the regular season loss?

Numbers mean nothing when these two play. It will be a war for 4 quarters and the winner will feel the impact of this game a week later. 

Paintsville has to do a better job against the run and in particular the QB leads and counters to pull off this mild upset. 

These two are usually neck and neck at this point in the season, but this feels like Raceland's year to simply be the better team. That makes this game even more appealing to me. How do the Rams handle being the clear favorite in this rivalry? They haven't been in this position since 2014.

Raceland's defense has really settled in after that Paintsville haymaker on the opening snap. The Rams have had a couple of good drives fizzle out and lost a fumble where the player lost the football with no contact involved.
