Thought St. X played well. Other than a few turnovers the only thing you need to do this time of year is survive and advance.

And stay healthy.

Great season against a very tough schedule for X!  I hope we keep the X vs. Owensboro game for years to come.

I agree. Owensboro always tough team.

up 48-0 in 4th quarter, running clock and still throwing the ball?  Butler had 35 players. probably 20 that played.  2nd string guys play hard too but gees.

They were also letting play clock drop to 5 seconds before snapping. Also they had 1st and goal late in 4th and ran and Butler got turnover on downs. I think they worked on some things with back up QB without running score up. St. X could have scored 100 if they wanted. What I saw was St. X trying more to not score than score.

As long as backups are playing I'm usually OK with the playing calling. And typically throwing the ball in running clock situations tends to take up more time than running the ball.

Coach Wallace played nearly his whole team.

Butler needs to do/be better. That school has plenty of resources. There is no reason for them to be so bad.
