PP1 Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Anyone else have them? I hear that as it gets colder they will try to hibernate in the house behind pictures and cabinets. I usually grab them with toilet paper and flush them. What are your tricks?
nkypete Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 I don't grab them or kill them. I just let them walk on toilet paper or a paper towel and walk them outside and toss them.
theguru Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Catch and release. My condo backs up to some woods so they are plentiful here.
nees1212 Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 They're all over the place. Took my grill cover off the other night, and there were about 20 crawling on top of the grill. The pressbox I was in the other day had a bunch in there. They're back.
Eagle 4 Life Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 I have had a few show up in the house. I usually get them and flick em off the back deck.
Beechwoodfan Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Years ago, I saw one one starting to crawl behind a large picture hanging beside a window. I peeked behind the picture and the entire back of the picture was covered with them. I sucked them all up in the vacuum. We have since replaced all of our windows which greatly decreased both stink bugs and wasps getting in, which had also been a problem. Now which I find one I flush it.
The Raven Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 They mostly seem to just hang on my screens so I just leave them alone until they go away. If one gets in, I just pick it up with a paper towel and toss it out the door.
