The Madison Central score caught my eye because no one is talking about them.

Bluto
It was good to see their QB, Drew Nieves, back on the field.
Brown
They've definitely proven how good they are beating Boyle and now LexCath, but I disagree with starting the season over Freddie D, Owensboro and X. Freddie beat them 40-6 in their big step up last year. As far as Calpreps, Lexington Christian finished higher than Owensboro and Freddie in 2020! Despite the beat down by Freddie. Can't see the forest for the trees sometimes.
strongopenyon
I attended Lexington Christian's game with Frederick Douglass last season. It was NOT a beatdown. LCA moved the football very well, but did not put it in the end zone. I recall walking away from that game thinking the score was certainly not indicative of how well LCA competed with Douglass.

It was 40-0 with almost a full quarter left. Douglass had subbed 2nd and 3rd stringers when LCA hit a 78 yard scoring play. They intercepted your QB 4 times. For a game that was supposed to be tight.....
