Bengals/Colts Updates

Featured Replies

Think the Bengals can win the next 2? I think it is possible...but it will be TOUGH. The Steelers would love nothing more than to spoil Cincy's season. Not to mention Pittsburgh is back at .500 and still breathing in terms of playoff chances.

You have to know the Bengals will make Cutler look like the return of John Elway next week

Hard to believe Palmer is only 7/14 for 124 yards.

The gameplan IMO was extremely conservative and was just awful.

If the Bengals lose, they're going to be ranked 6th in the AFC right? Don't they have the tie breaker over Jax and NYJ?

another run.....really...

want to know something goofy?

If Rudi Johnson lines up 7 yards or more behind the line of scrimmage it is a run.

That's generally the case for most RB's. That's something I learned while watching film in high school. My d-coordinator said that no RB lined up 7 yards deep is going to be pass blocking. (most of the time)

Running the ball is the way to beat the Colts, that's not being conservative...BUT your defense has to be able to slow down the pass (not stop), slow down.

They would still be number 5.....

In the NFL it is so funny, how predictable the game really gets.

They have only run 40 plays on offense.

Problem is they hit the RedZone 4 times for 3 FG.

Not good.

Like most sports it is the Henry's and Joe's more so than the X's and O's.

That's really a great post.

Yes, but you have to mix in some passing plays along with the run.....Passing the ball 8 times in a half with the air attack we have, is just plain dumb.
