Matt Jones from Arkansas. The NFL was intereseted in Eric Crouch from Nebraska as a receiver. I think it would be in his best interest to learn WR techiniques and ask if he can display any other skills (ie arm) in the context of the offense.

Curtis Pulley is NOT a quarterback...

No disrespect but you don't know what you are talking about. I have seen him many times in practice look as sharp or sharper than Woodson throwing the ball. Add a redshirt year along with his running ability and you will have a very good SEC QB for 2 years.He has worked very hard on his passing and it will pay off.

I don't disagree with that. I was just making the point that he can still get drafted, or sign on as a FA, even if he does stay at QB in college. If he shows enough athleticism, some NFL team will likely take a chance on him...that could be in the draft or as a free agent. Either way, he'll have a chance. The fact that he has moonlighted as a WR will at least let them know that he's not completely unaware of the position.

Ultimately it will be up to him to make a decision one way to the other. I wish him the best of success no matter what he chooses. We can speculate on this as outsider's as I have but in the end, he needs to do what he feels is in his best interest and for that I wish him success. I would however be remiss if I failed to mention that I enjoy him playing for UK and would like to see him stay.

Like I said ones that have succeeded in the NFL. So far Matt Jones has shown he will probably be around for a while but it also doesn't hurt to be 6'5" and run 4.3 40. As far as Crouch is concern end of discussion.

This is an absolute joke. I hope he does transfer, the CATS are trying to prepare for a Bowl game and this "individual" is whining about PT, when he clearly should be the backup. Its all over the news, newspaper, and net about his frustrations. Maybe he should go to EKU and compete for a spot

Ronald Curry has been pretty successful as a converted quarterback into a wide receiver with the Oakland Raiders.

Here's the thing with you guys saying that maybe playing QB would help his NFL status because other guys have done it (Crouch, Jones, etc)...How would that benefit CP at all? He's already a WR, and a good one at that. I see him gaining nothing from a switch and then a switch back. Unless he has a very strong desire to play QB (so strong that it would lessen his NFL potential in my eyes), he should stay in this offense which could yield big numbers for him as a WR.

I don't owe nobody nothing! I know about the situation along with Curtis and the article didn't even touch 2 other reasons that he may transfer for.

Okay, as I said as long as the story can be substansiated it was okay but rumors are like cancer. If I owe anyone an apology, I do apologize but, I will take the exact same stance the very next time someone posts an unfounded story. Not just about the guys from Hopkinsville or Western Kentucky, anyone who I feel is getting a raw deal in a thread!
