Boyle out rebounded them 45-25 and I think that Boyles defense was really good tonight.  Gillis had double double with 19 points and 13 rebounds alone with Sheperson's double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.  

I was wrong about this one.  Rebounding was the X-factor.  Lincoln did miss a ton of 3s, but Boyle forced a lot of hurried/rushed 3s.  Boyle did a great job taking away the right hand drives of Smith and Alcorn.  They are not nearly effective going left.

Boyle should improve when they have everyone back and healthy. They have played well already, but I think their best basketball is the last of Feb. and March. This group is really aggressive and tough minded. I am sure that Imfeld had his worst offensive game of the season. Future opponents can never count on that happening again. This team also has depth which should bode well down the stretch. 

Really nice win for Boyle.  But I've learned over the years to never count Lincoln out when things reach the post-season.

Lincoln is easier to score on in their M2M this year without 6"9 big in middle cleaning up mistakes.  They started man last night, and quickly had to switch zone.

After watching Lincoln the last few years they do go to the zone alot when they are down in a game.  But when they go to it they go to the trap and it really help with their game.
