Kentucky Country Day delivered another knockout blow to Crittenden County again to advance to the State Semi-Finals for a second straight year 35-7. Kentucky Country Day has a very strong running game putting up over 2000 yards on the season, as well as passing for over 1000 yards as well. Nathan Caldwell and Eric Dickerson anchor that rushing attack, while Jalen Todd and Drew Russell are your passing threats for quarterback Luke Russo.

Williamsburg comes in off a 26-6 win over Nicholas County in the pouring rain which may of grounded there air attack. Quarterback Sydney Bowen was 3-12 with 1 INT and 1 Touchdown for 111 yards in the game against Nicholas County. He did however rush for 99 yards and a touchdown. Gavon Thomas caught two of those passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. Williamsburg now sit at 6-2 win the win.

Kentucky Country Day will come into this matchup averaging 42 points per game and giving up almost 13 points per game. Williamsburg will come into this matchup averaging just over 33 points per game and giving up almost 17 points per game. Who wins this matchup to go play for a State Championship?

I too believe KCD will move on. They have been quietly impressive all year long. I think Williamsburg is down a little this year and does not have enough weapons to hang with the Bearcats.

Ttt.

I figured there would be some more talk in this thread.

Would like to see Williamsburg win one and get another shot at a title.  They lost a heartbreaker a few years back to Mayfield if memory serves me.

But I think KCD is too much for them this year.

I agree with everything in your post.

KCD by a fairly comfortable margin. They have the experience of playing in this game last year and they are at home.
