    I love a good defensive slugfest every now and then. DeSales spent a big chunk of the season ranked #1 in 3A, but they bow out in the first round. Tough break in a tough district.

    Johnson was definitely too much of a void to fill.

    Sets up another potential instant classic between CAL and Mercer.

    Watched the 2nd half and wow what an offensive struggle. Both teams had great defenses but at points of that 2nd half the offenses just looked bad. CAL was to dependent on the run. They had a tough time if they got behind the chains. Resales on the other hand was to dependent on the big play. Once they got close to the end zone they stalled out with short fields. Interesting game to watch. Happy for Coach Cantwell he did a great job at Carroll County before moving on to CAL.
