Wow, Aquino just got his 3RD HIT in 9 ab’s, (AND in the clutch!!) plus 2 walks!!

VanMeter and Ervin were 5-69 between them, HOW CAN YOU JUSTIFY THAT!!!  This kid should’ve been up long ago, his play last year deserved that!!

Big comeback win, BUILD on that!!!

Leave Bell in the clubhouse!!

What do you know, Joey gets run and Reds win.

Joey Votto definitely has struggled, but for the Reds to get to the level they want to get to. They are still a better team with him playing.

It’s always easy to look as say hey they won, that shows they are better without him. However, in those three wins without him. The lead off spot, where he would have been batting. The lead off batter in 13 plate appearances in those 3 games had zero hits, and one walk. So someone else in the lead off spot, didn’t all of a sudden get the offense going. The lead off spot without Joey in those wins was horrible. In fact Joey in just 6 plate appearances tonight had 3 hits.

At the end of the day for this team to be at its best, they need him in the lineup.  With that said he probably shouldn’t be batting at the top of the lineup. I would like to see him around the 6th spot.

I’m not a David Bell fan, however he did play this pretty well. Benching Votto was the right decision to try to help get him refocused, and putting him back in was the right decision. It’s not his fault that the rest of the lineup behind him in game one decided not to hit like they did the previous games.

The entire Major League Baseball product is frustrating.  Poor fielding, poor pitching, revolving door rosters and lineups.  Really a bad state of affairs.

God love Jim Day - "if we can get back to .500 we can make the playoffs under the new structure and anything can happen then."   Playoffs???  If the Reds are even in the concentration there is something wrong with the way the teams are selected.  Sad  The Reds have been over .500 only one game since early spring 2018, and that was opening day this year, when we won the opener.

Reds got an absolute gift in the second game yesterday, and they are talking about this "comeback."  There was no comeback it was a sellout from old "Chicken Wing" - AGAIN.

Votto has obviously outstayed his welcome.

Let me ask again  -  WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR REBUILD???????
