That ball was so close to going out of the deepest part of the park. I loved him jumping on the first pitch. He needs to do more of that, especially late inning at bats.

The Reds just can't get back to .500 or above they are down 5-0 in the top of the 6th. The Royals have scored in 5 of the 6 innings so far.

Reds have came back to cut it to 5-4 going to the bottom of the 9th. They had in the 8th inning 2nd and 3rd with one out and  Senzel and Galvis both took called 3rds. Of course Suarez took a called 3rd earlier in the inning he swung at one that bounced 3 foot in front of the plate and then took two right down the middle.

Reds get the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out and Colon hits into a 5-4-3 double play to end it the Reds lose 5-4. Next up is the Pirates for a four game series.

I'm not even sure they'll fair any better against the Pirates.

Such a disappointing loss, after being down 5-0 I figured it was over.  Then to come back and make it 5-4 and have all the momentum. Just couldn't get the clutch hit.

Just a brutal way to end that game last night.
