April 15, 20206 yr Author I would say 7 2000 - Gladiator 2001 - A Beautiful Mind 2003 - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King 2004 - Million Dollar Baby 2005 - Crash 2006 - The Departed 2007 - No Country for Old Men Everything since was mediocre at best. Slumdog Millionaire (2008) and Spotlight (2015) were mediocre? I thought those movies were great.

Heck, most people have not seen 75% of movies recognized at the Academy Awards. Here is one. Last 20 years or so Robert De Niro is a below average actor. Meet the Parents and Analyze This were the last two movies he was good. After that, easily replaceable.
