The Tigers put on a nice dunk show tonight. Downton had a couple, Rylee had a couple and Draud added one.

 

Cole Busald was great tonight. He had a bunch of steals and assists that broke the game open in the third quarter.

I would be. After watching how Highlands handled them and how physical the Colonels can be. If they do have a chance they have to utilize their bench and hope for production. I don't have a dog in this fight just my observations.

Wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened this year as last. But then again, I think Beechwood propelled CCH to a 9th Region Title after the District loss last year. Can't wait to see the result this year with extremely similar teams.

I agree and that it all I am saying: Beechwood winning Friday on their home court would not surprise me, and honestly does not matter in the grand scheme of things. It's winning when you have no tomorrow which CCH is pretty darn good at.

Not to mention, their kids have played so many games at BB&T and Rupp the last few years, the bigger court is such an advantage for them.

Beechwood had four double figure scores and three double-doubles last night:

 

Will Downton - 12 pts

Cole Busald - 10 pts and 10 assists

Scotty Draud - 14 pts and 12 rebounds; and

Mitchell Rylee - 22 pts and 11 rebounds

 

Holmes was led by Amari Mullins with 19 pts and Quantez Calloway had 15 pts.

Rule 12

I saw a very ugly game last night. Neither team had any flow offensively and Draud looked out of sorts for most of the game. Holmes battled back after a poor start but just didn't have the discipline to put together stops on the defensive end or make good decisions offensively. The crowd was brutal to hear as well from the Holmes side.
