Louisville 80 Virginia 73

This team is definitely hitting all the buttons, Final Four or better IMO.

IMO Cards can't put it together for 2 quarters. This will bite them soon. Good news is they are finding away to win games they would have lost last season.

If Louisville were hitting all the buttons, this should have been a 20 point win.

#0 for Virginia, at about 5'9", was incredibly impressive. 20+, 5+ boards and 5+ assists. Than #53 got white hot in the 2nd half from three. Put UVA in a position to win on the road, but Mack and the Cards settled and got the win. UL was brilliant from the foul line late, which proved to be huge.

UL's first 5 minutes or so, from three, was almost comically good. Nwora and Perry nailed 3 quick ones....each.

Fun game, more points than I expected, and Chris survived a late technical with the game tied 68-68.

UVA had beaten UL nine straight times..........and it looked they were going to make it 10 as they overcame a 14-point half time deficit to take a late 1-point lead. However, to their credit, UL made the necessary plays to secure the win and get the monkey off their back.

I’m thrilled about the win, but there were some big flaws here defensively.

You win 10 straight games and you are definitely doing something right.
