Looking ahead to Ballard’s matchup with Male on 31st, Howard Fleming of Male tweeted he will be back in a week, which appears to be against Ballard as first game back. Grab your popcorn for that game folks!

St. X kept their starters in the whole game against Spencer County. That 26 point lead was in second quarter before Spencer County started their comeback.

No, We actually went deep in the bench in second quarter while up 26 but played a very bad fourth quarter and let them back in the game. I feel Spencer County is better than what they showed in the first half yesterday.

If Tigers meet them in 7th region tourney, should have all starters plus Mehki Smith, probably still not enough to beat Ballard but game should be much closer.

Spencer County's point guard was getting medical attention for over a quarter of the first half. That had a big impact for Spencer County. While Conley is their best player, Whitlock runs that team and is one of their best defenders. Not trying to take anything away from St. X but that was a factor.
