4 Quarters Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Final nice road win for Woodford who is starting to play some good ball. Yeah, after being down 23 in the second quarter.
16thBBall Fan Posted January 21, 2020 Author Posted January 21, 2020 Yeah, after being down 23 in the second quarter. Really didn’t know that. They do have some kids that can shoot it from deep. It will be interesting to see how they march up with Spencer Co. on Friday.
4 Quarters Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Really didn’t know that. They do have some kids that can shoot it from deep. It will be interesting to see how they march up with Spencer Co. on Friday. WC looked really bad in the 1st half, Smithers for WV had 25 at half, 32 for the game. WV cooled off in the second half and WC played much better on both ends of the court. The Penn kid for WC went down after a hard foul with 2:24 left in the game, was removed from the gym by the life squad on a stretcher. My guess is Spencer County will win Friday.
ColonelMike Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Impressive game from W-V. Didn't really expect the Bearcats to be able to stay with Woodford - but then again, Walton is full of shooters. When they're on, they can score with a lot of good teams. Woodford stays hot, though. That's 11 wins in 13 games now. If Penn is out for any length of time, that could be problematic this week as Woodford faces Spencer County and #16 South Oldham in the next two games.
1VA Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 WV was without one of their top scorers and rebounders in the game. Woodford County has a really nice teams and made a outstanding comeback. Kid from Woodford was injured in the game. Hope he ended up being ok.
ColonelMike Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Walton is down this year, but not too far down. Bearcats definitely are a contender to make it to the Roy!
ConverseAllStar Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 @JoshGphoto tweeted photos of the three officials from last night's game and suggested Woodford players were undercut 4-5 times, one causing the injury to Penn. Anyone who was there have the same take?
PutMeInCoach Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 @JoshGphoto Anyone who was there have the same take? Nope. He was blocked from behind at the rim and came down awkwardly.
4 Quarters Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Nope. He was blocked from behind at the rim and came down awkwardly. You are spot on.
