January 9, 20206 yr Author Spoiler: It's scheduled to be on TV for 3 nights this week and 4 nights next week. Sounds like we have a 3 way tie at two going into the last night. Maybe they did that to throw everyone off...:idunno: My guess is they will rerun an episode or two if a winner is decided before then. Or have other programming ready like they do for the NBA Finals or World Series. While I hope this happens, I wouldn’t read much into it.
January 9, 20206 yr After Two days, Rutter seems to be struggling a bit. Last night, the clues seemed a little easier to me, but the contestants missed more last night than the previous night. Still many of these clues, I can’t even give an educated guess.

January 10, 20206 yr Author Ken brought the wrath the first game and never looked back last night. It is amazing how much strategy has shifted in going "all in" on every Daily Double. One more victory for him and he will be deemed the greatest of all time.
January 10, 20206 yr Author In the second round James had a chance, getting all of the first clues and hitting $5,000 then getting the Daily Double. He went all in and missed it and he knew that was it for the night. Ironically, I knew the clue that he missed. Me > Jeopardy James. The Final Jeopardy clue the first game was super easy.

Yeah, I did too. I couldn't believe with the "Florida State" hint that he missed it. Ken has looked like the most knowledgeable so far. He seems to have a wider spectrum of knowledge about various subjects, than the other two.

Before James everyone would just rip through a category. Now they hit the top three amounts in a category, looking for a double Jeopardy, then move on to the next category. It has hurt James that with few exceptions, when he has hit DJ, it has been early and he didn't have many points to wager.

It is weird how they will get in grooves where they buzz in first X amount of times in a row. That is where I think Brad has struggled most.

That is where I think Brad has struggled most. True, they've shown video of them practicing with a buzzers at home. When all the dudes are smart, being quick on the trigger is the key.

There aren't very many second opportunities because these guys don't miss that many questions, although Brad and James missed more than usual yesterday. Brad has been finding daily doubles, but he hasn't been answering correctly, so he's been a non factor so far. Missing a daily double or not finding it at all or at the right time has been the difference in all these games. Finding it too early is as bad as not finding it at all.
January 10, 20206 yr Ken was getting frustrated in game 2 last night by the buzzer. You could see him buzzing in on every answer and James was beating him to the buzzer. James lost his focus after he missed the daily double in game 2. He knew it was over at that point with the big lead Ken built after game 1.
January 11, 20206 yr I’ve really enjoyed watching this. Ken and James appear to be having a lot of fun playing against each other. Their interaction is almost more entertaining than the game itself.
