Five Whitley basketball players were taken to the Corbin hospital last night after an accident following practice with non-life threatening injuries. Two were later flown to the UT Hospital. I won't release the names, but 2 or 3 I believe are starters. The Times Tribune has a story in today's edition and I'm not sure if they tell who was injured or not.

Prayers go out to all involved.

Prayers for the players, thier family and friends, and all of the basketball family in Whitley County.

I'm sorry to hear this news. Our school scrimmaged Whitley last month. Their players (and fans) were a very well-mannered group. Hopefully all will be okay for these young men.
