Not a bad read but not my favorite. It’s a little dry and a little technical (and kinda depressing for the first 2/3), but it finished strong.

That is a fascinating book about Presidents James Garfield's shooting, subsequent death, Alexander Graham Bell, and how American doctors ignoring Joseph Lister's new concept of antiseptic sterile surgery cost Garfield his life.

I haven't read that one but it is on the list. Keeping with Candice Millard, her book "Hero of the Empire" about Winston Churchill in South Africa during the Boer War was also really good. I like her work.
