John Hardin's roster -

Any school’s team roster can be found on the KHSAA site. Click on the "Info/Media" tab on the header and a drop down menu allows one to select "Print (View) Current Season Roster." Scroll down to find the team needed and go from there.

Many, but not all schools list height / weight numbers. Uniform numbers are usually spot on too. I've found this roster search a great tool when posting updates.

Top scorers:

Matthews, 6-6 SF

Harris, 6-4 G

Murrell, 6-9 C

Tyus 5-10 SG

Rogers 5-9 PG

Montgomery, 6-3 G

Thanks! I'm just too lazy to do my own research. JH looks like they have a little size or at the very least 15 fouls to give from guys 6'6 or taller.

How big is JH?

He was 5’9 and 160 pounds according to historians.

He wasn't bad with a pistol either. From what I understand.

John Hardin wins tomorrow they’ll probably be #1.

And when they lose? Sorry, I mean if they lose?

Don’t know. Probably Male or CovCath.

So we would have a Public school #1 and a Prep school #1. I believe if Madisonville wins this game, they have as good of an argument as anybody to be #1, but I keep forgetting that most of the voters believe that Kentucky ends at Elizabethtown.

So you want the #6 school to jump to #1 even though the #3 school and the #4 school didn’t lose? That makes sense.

Maybe the #6 school shouldn’t have lost to the #5 school. Then the #6 school would have been at worst #3 or #4 and then IF at #3 or #4 they could have beaten #2 they would have easily been #1.

Lesson of the day, don’t lose to a LexCath school that can’t beat St. Henry and maybe you’d be #1 and your WKY complex wouldn’t be so severe.

Good luck against John Hardin.

To be honest, rankings shouldn't even be released until mid January. It is anybody's guess who the best team is. Didn't Covington Catholic lose to Lexington Catholic too? Male beat Madisonville in the KOB, if I remember right. If I had a vote I would probably vote Male #1 to be honest. Madisonville may have their hands full when they have to face Webster County.

About my "WKY Complex", if you live West of I-65 it seems like you have to prove yourself over and over in order to get a little respect. All I was saying is that in my opinion, Madisonville has as good of a team as anybody in the state right now.

I'm sorry. I was wrong. Madisonville lost to Collins at the KOB. Still a quality squad.

Nobody disagrees. They do have a very good team and I’d love to see them at Rupp. Just because they aren’t #1 doesn’t mean they aren’t any good. They are clearly good enough to defeat every team in the state as well as winning the Sweet 16.

Agreed. Personally, I'm probably gonna hate it when MNH plays my Caldwell County Tigers, and beats them 3 times this year. This has been a wild year to try to predict in high school and college basketball. After doing some research, JH looks like a very good team this year and will be a tough team to beat. They look like they play very good defense, have length, and can score with most anybody. This game should be very exciting. May the best team win and everyone stay injury-free.
