December 22, 20196 yr I’m glad he didn’t catch it, but that was a good throw by Dalton. Ross has to catch that.
December 22, 20196 yr Author It depends. If Dalton goes Kaepernick and won't settle for backup job, yes his career could be over after next year. If he is ok being Ryan Fitzpatrick, he has a lot of years left. He will have to take a HUGE pay cut to be in the NFL next year as a backup, HUGE and I still don’t know if anybody would want him!
December 22, 20196 yr Boyd WIDE open on the sideline and Andy throws it out of bounds, I think he knows his NFL career is at an end. His career is no where near close to over. It might not always be as a starter after this year, but he will be in the NFL.
December 22, 20196 yr He will have to take a HUGE pay cut to be in the NFL next year as a backup, HUGE and I still don’t know if anybody would want him! There are a lot of bad qbs in the NFL, especially as backups. He will have a job, there is no doubt about that.
December 22, 20196 yr Author His career is no where near close to over. It might not always be as a starter after this year, but he will be in the NFL. MIGHT NOT be as a starter??? Name just 1 team that he could start for in the NFL next year!! ONLY if he takes 2-3 million to be a backup, that’s my prediction.
December 22, 20196 yr I believe Joe will bring a lot of excitement and mental toughness to the QB position. He won’t be a first year Savior but an excellent franchise QB. Andy has shown inadequate mental toughness IMO over the years time and again. Thus, his abysmal Prime-Time performances and so many pathetic in-play decisions void of testosterone. Very Great person - very average NFL QB at best. On the brighter side, we have a franchise record-setting kicker on attempt #3 - lol!!
December 22, 20196 yr Author Best Bengal game I have seen Bengals play in a long time. #1 coming. LOL! Not sure Burrow feels that way!!
December 22, 20196 yr MIGHT NOT be as a starter??? Name just 1 team that he could start for in the NFL next year!! ONLY if he takes 2-3 million to be a backup, that’s my prediction. All the stuff you are saying about him, is what people said about Ryan Tannehill but even worst for Tannehill. Now all of a sudden he may be be the Titans starter from here on out. You are acting like Daltons contract is horrible. It is still very team friendly, and no guandteed money left. So a team could trade for him and cut him if they really wanted to and not cost them a dime. Teams that could be interested in him are teams like the Bears, Raiders. A team that may have a lot of interest is Tampa Bay. He is not the turnover machine that Winston is, and a team friendly contract and could be a starter for a year if they draft a young QB. I been one of the biggest guys against Dalton on here for years now. Yet I even know his career is not where close to being over like you seem to think.
December 22, 20196 yr Folks, games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage and Bengals are overmatched on the offensive line. Dline okay, but linebacker play is awful. And using Hubbard or Dunlap in pass coverage is just flat stupid and you still do it in game 15.
December 22, 20196 yr Any chance they keep Dalton, bring Burrows along slowly? Didn't they use Kitna like that? I realize Dalton earns much more though. Burrows flourished this season in an offense designed for him with talent better than or equal to every opponent so far. That won't be the case here.
