Watching live right now at Wednesday 11:00 PM in ol’ eastern Kentucky. It’s Thursday 3:00 PM in Melbourne. The Internationals have won 3 matches and the USA 1 match with one match still out and the USA down 1 going to the last hole. It’s looking like the Internationals are going to be leading 4-1 after this round of matches.

I believe the 18th hole at Royal Melbourne is the largest green I’ve ever seen.

After reading my post again I suppose in my last sentence I should have said, “On a side note, the 18th green at Royal Melbourne is the biggest Green I’ve ever seen.” Lol. I went from one topic to a completely different one.

Another observation, the Melbourne greens are as lightening fast as I’ve ever witnessed. If golfers have downhill putts they’re in for a journey. And rolling up long putts for a gimme is also a challenge.

Internationals lead 6.5 to 3.5 going into tomorrow’s matches.

Things were looking dim until the USA won 2 matches with clutch putts in the 18th hole. Cantley and Thomas each made what looked like 15 foot putts to swing their teams matches from a tie to a win on 18.

I think the crowd is getting into Reed’s head. He’s made a few gestures to the gallery since the tournament started and they’re not being too kind toward him.

Internationals up 9-5 going into the afternoon matches. Uphill battle for the Red, White and Blue.

The United States ended up winning for those who may have not have heard and only read this.

16-14. Tiger Woods was the best golfer on the American side.

I should have finished what I started, lol. USA came from 2 behind going into the last day’s singles and won by 2 points. Tiger won all the matches he was in during the tournament, going 3-0.

Tiger seems to be a changed individual. Nice to see the "team" side of him in this event.

Maybe the best he's ever done in an event like this.

I can't believe that the other guy had called him out earlier, that Tiger was who he wanted to go against.

Yeah, the first time I heard it I was thinking...be careful of what you wish for, young man. To be fair, I read something afterwards that cleared that up a little bit. Apparently Abe was asked awhile ago who he'd like to play with (in the singles), he said Tiger. It wasn't meant in the fashion that he "wanted" Tiger (in order to beat him), but more of being paired with an idol of his.

Well that sounds better. The way it was portrayed on the golf channel was that he wanted some of Tiger.

Which is I'm sure the way Tiger processed it. :lol2:
