That game showed their defense to not be as Dominant as once thought, and carried over to tonight. While the one weak area for LSU their defense has looked much better The last two games.

 

Then to top it off LSU just blew out a team that is the playoff started this week would have been in the playoffs as the four seed. So definitely could see LSU jumping them.

I’d have to go back and look but the Fox post Gabe show with Coach Myer they said that LSU had 5 wins over teams that were ranked in the top 10 when they played them. I’m assuming you meant current ranking. Just the messenger that’s what they reported.

Well today LSU just blew out a team that the committee would have had in the playoffs if the playoffs started today. It does not matter what you think of Georgia, the committee thought Georgia would have been in the playoffs if it started today and LSU blew them out. While OSU for the second week in a row looked vulnerable on defense and was trailing. OSU still got the win, but LSU now the last two weeks has looked better even in their weak area with the defense playing good now too. So it is not hate that makes people think LSU may in fact be the one seed by tomorrow, it is just simply how both teams have looked. Any other year OSU is the easy one seed, this year though LSU has shown they very easily could be the one seed and look to be improving still while OSU looks like they are not at their peak like they were a few weeks ago.

I think the committee has shown they seem to think they are pretty close to each other. So in my opinion I don’t think it is to crazy to think LSU will jump them now based on how today went.

So yes they probably will look at that better than OSU trailing by 14 at half to a team who already and three loses before tonight.
