I do find it funny that NBA Owners are held in such high moral standing...

While not all are great moral characters, they are businessmen and know the difference between a good move and a bad move in the eyes of the public. Also, David Stern does seem to have some sense, and I think he could influence the situation if the issue did come up.

My real concern is that Morris decides to quit trying. You know, he finally gets tired of doing everything for a team that isn't going anywhere and hangs it up for the season.

I dont see any chance of that happening either, because he wouldn't just be hurting the team, but himself and his chances at playing in the NBA...

I believe that you dont desire for RM to leave early. I get your stance for staying four years. However, I dont believe your feelings would be hurt either and that you would enjoy the days that follow on the message board and otherwise.
